Every step, written out
- 0:10 Visit nudgeagain.com, then select Start free with Microsoft.
- 0:15 Use your work Microsoft account to log in, which is the same one you use for Outlook.
- 0:22 You might receive a prompt from Microsoft to authorize NudgeAgain. Go ahead and click the Accept button if it is visible. If a message appears stating that an admin must grant permission, forward the link found on the NudgeAgain sign-in page to your IT contact. They only need to handle this approval step one time for the entire organization.
- 0:44 We need to decide if NudgeAgain sends automatic follow-ups or just for specific messages. In this example, the choice is Only the emails I pick.
- 0:54 Your NudgeAgain connection is live. Now, add the button to Outlook if you want it; this step is optional but reduces email selection to one click. Select Picking emails next.
- 1:07 Go ahead and click Download the NudgeAgain file. The process places a compact file named NudgeAgain.xml into your Downloads folder.
- 1:16 Then click Open Outlook's add-in page.
- 1:20 A new window opens in Outlook to show add-ins. Click My add-ins on the left side of the screen.
- 1:26 Head down to the Custom Addins section at the bottom. Select Add a custom add-in, then look for and click Add from File.
- 1:35 Head to your Downloads folder and select the NudgeAgain.xml file.
- 1:40 Microsoft displays this identical alert for all custom add-ins. Click Install.
- 1:47 Quit Outlook entirely, then launch the app once more. The program only recognizes newly installed add-ins during startup.
- 1:56 Open a fresh email. Navigate to the Message tab and select Apps.
- 2:01 There's NudgeAgain. Right-click it, and choose Pin.
- 2:06 The NudgeAgain button is present on your toolbar whenever you write an email.
- 2:11 Let's give it a shot just like you normally do. Go ahead and compose your email using your usual style.
- 2:18 Hit the NudgeAgain button to set your follow up time. We will select In 3 working days.
- 2:24 NudgeAgain places its address in the Bcc field. This keeps it hidden from everyone else. Then you can send your message just like normal.
- 2:34 Within one or two minutes, the email shows up under Follow-ups in NudgeAgain.
- 2:39 If you don't get a response within three working days, the next message is prepared. You will need to approve the first three of these messages so you can review them before they are sent. Once everything looks correct, click Send.
- 2:55 Your own mailbox sends the follow-up message, appearing as a reply within that same thread.
- 3:02 Prefer to let NudgeAgain handle the decision? Go into Settings and select Follow up automatically.
- 3:09 Simply compose and send your messages the way you normally do. You will not find a button to press, nor do you need to enter anything in the Bcc field.
- 3:22 NudgeAgain finds messages waiting on a reply and handles the follow-up on its own. This specific one was picked automatically.
- 3:31 Once the initial three follow-ups are sent, the remaining messages dispatch automatically. To approve each message individually, select Let me OK each one first and then press Save settings.
- 3:44 NudgeAgain shuts off automatically the second someone responds. That is all you need to do.
